Lots of Love

February 14, 2015 took on extra meaning yesterday.  We celebrated Zakary's 18th Birthday via long distance.  He is having an experience of a lifetime at the 2015 NFTY Convention in Atlanta.  He celebrated with +1,000 of his NFTY Friends.  The coming weeks will be filled with anticipation as we learn where Zakary will be attending college in the fall — Stay tuned!

AND…Ethan came home again.  Hard to even imagine, but this was his second discharge of 2015.  Can we have a mulligan (do-over) on 2015?  We pray that Ethan will remain home for a long, long time.  This week he will reengage in his therapies, doctor appointments and school – PT at 8AM tomorrow!  Ethan has a lot of ground to make up.

AND…We took a few hours to enjoy Valentine’s Day with dinner downtown.  Having a child born on February 14, we hadn’t had this opportunity in, let’s see, 18 years! 

Thank you for all of your love and prayers over the past 6 weeks.  Team Ethan is STRONG and ALIVE – you all inspire us to give our best each day and you fill us with hope for the future.  Your support helped in so many ways during these past two hospitalizations – THANK YOU.
